Revolution: Who Turned Out The Lights?

“Revolution” is a science fiction television drama produced by J.J. Abrams portraying a post-apocalyptic future. Fifteen years earlier, an unknown phenomenon disabled all technology dependent on electricity on the planet, ranging from computers and electronics to car engines, jet engines, and batteries. People were forced to adapt to a world without functioning technology. Due to the collapse of government and public order, many areas are ruled by warlords and militias. The series focuses on the Matheson family, who possess a special device (resembling a flash drive) that is the key to not only finding out what happened fifteen years ago, but also a possible way to reverse its effects.

The show stars Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Anna Lise Phillips, Zak Orth, Graham Rogers, JD Pardo, Giancarlo Esposito, David Lyons, Maria Howell, Daniella Alonso, Tim Guinee, and Elizabeth Mitchell

The season one pilot episode premiered September 17 and can be watched at this link --> (Pilot Episode)
The pilot episode is free on iTunes as well.  The show airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.

Food for thought…

What would a world without electricity be like?  Would you be able to survive without your laptop, smartphone, television, radio, hot water or car? To be quite honest, I’m a gadget geek. I don’t think I’d be able to live without my electronics, or at least without going insane, that is.  My life is in my phone, and without it, I am lost.  What would you miss the most if the world suddenly…switched off?
